What this is

Consent Receipts is a Chrome extension and website built for HackPSU Fall 26. By creating an account or using the extension, you agree to these terms.

The service

The free extension saves receipts, rule based summaries, change alerts, finance flags, and suggested actions in your browser. Pro adds Gemini summaries that run on our server. Summaries and risk scores are automated and can be wrong or incomplete. Always check the cited sentence and the full policy before relying on them. Nothing here is legal or financial advice.

Accounts

You need an email address and a password to create an account. Keep your password private and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You must be old enough to agree to these terms where you live.

Payments

Pro is free right now: every account gets it, and we never ask for a card. If we ever charge for Pro, we will tell you first, and nothing will be charged unless you choose to pay.

Acceptable use

Don't abuse the service, try to get around rate limits, attack the server, or use it to break the law. We may suspend accounts that do.

No warranty

The service is a hackathon project provided as is, without any warranty. It may change, break, or shut down at any time. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions you make based on a summary.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version.
